The HERMES Rallye Bone China Cup Set Through years of trials and tribulations, the Hermès family, through the combined efforts of several generations, has made its brand renowned. As early as the turn of the century, Hermès had become a quintessential representative of French luxury goods. As one of the leaders in the luxury goods industry, Hermès enjoys a large following, and its brand value has risen accordingly. The Rallye is a tableware collection launched by Hermès in 1988. Inspired by motorsports, the name of this collection comes from both the location of the Hermès flagship store in France (rue du Faubourg St Honore) and the “Le Mans Hours” (the toughest rally in history: 10 drivers form a team, driving one car for 12 hours, the French name being HEURES DU MANS). The main element of this tableware set comes from the iconic Chaine d’Ancre created by the fourth-generation head of the company, Dumas, inspired by anchor chain links. However, in this set of tableware, the logo appears in the form of a racetrack, and the colors also incorporate iconic racing colors: gray, yellow, green, red, blue, and black. Its bold, vivid, and dynamic lines harmonize and complement the oval, oblong, and even square curves of the tableware itself.
